Dear Doctors, October is LGBTQ History Month, a time dedicated to acknowledging, supporting, and celebrating leaders within the LGBTQ community. It is time to step up for the LGBTQ community.
Every October is devoted to bringing awareness to Intimate Partner and Domestic Violence (IPDVAM). The intention is to empower our community to work towards ending gender-based violence.
Man-made or synthetic opioids (mostly fentanyl and fentanyl analogs) were involved in over half of the 70,630 drug overdose deaths in 2019. Fentanyl and other intentional and unintentional opioid-related overdoses have rapidly increased over the years and continue to trend upwards.
