AKUA’s residential treatment center in San Diego is an around the clock intensive level of care for males and females who struggle with cravings on an ongoing basis and who need monitoring 24/7 to prevent relapse.

Adult males and female clients that enter into our San Diego rehab facility usually cannot go more than a day or two without drug use, regardless if it is prescription opioids, alcohol, cocaine, marijuana, heroin, amphetamines, prescription benzodiazepines or any other prescription or street drug of choice.

San Diego rehab facilities on average typically last 30-90 days, depending on the severity of the client’s drug addiction and individuals receive on average 5 hours of therapy a day which includes a broad range of therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, dialectal behavioral therapy, group therapy, family therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, and trauma-informed care.
